Good Book Reviews

The site's primary aim was to support and help all those with an interest in Christian books, by reviewing new books and recommending good reads for others. The site began as "theGoodBookStall", with the aim of being a support service for Church Bookstalls, but adapted over the years to support the work of Christian bookshops and publishers, and the needs of the ordinary reader. It grew beyond anything that was envisaged at the outset, notably under the editorship of Mary Bartholomew, to contain thousands of book reviews as well as bookshop and publisher directories.

The site was managed through a combination of custom-built tools which evolved successfully to meet changing requirements from its launch in 2000 to its closure in 2019.
